With my mother being a home appraiser and my father being a home inspector, I naturally became interested in pursuing a career in Real Estate. I have been around the business my whole life, and enjoy every aspect of the field.
I am originally from Westlake, OH, where I also gained some experience in investment properties. During my teen years, my parents purchased foreclosed homes and then flipped them. I often spent my weekends pulling up carpet, putting up dry-wall and painting walls. When I was younger, we put our house up for sale in Ohio. My mother and I sold the house ourselves. We marketed the house and sold it within 3 months. Enjoying the satisfaction of selling our house in Ohio made it clear to me that I wanted to enter the Real Estate industry as a Realtor. Now that I am with Nautical Realty Group, Inc, I anticipate a long and successful career in Real Estate.

Russ is a transplant from New England and has resided in Lee County for over 30 years.
Russ’ sales experience started in New York as a field sales engineer for a worldwide company. He fell in love with SW Fl while on vacation on Sanibel and left the cold NE to become the GM at Sanibel Marina in the 70’s, where he started a marine dealership. One thing led to another and Mattson Marine evolved into one of SW Florida’s premier boat dealerships throughout the 80’s and 90’s. Russ sold Mattson Marine in 2004 and has since applied his local knowledge and sales experience to the world of Real Estate.

Lee says he is a "true Florida Cracker", born in Lakeland Florida and has resided in Cape Coral since 1969.
Lee graduated North Fort High School in 1973 and enlisted in the US Marine Corps. Upon returning home to Cape Coral, Lee met his wife Mary and married her in 1977.They have 1 son David who has graduated Fire Academy and recently finished EMT school.
His professional career started with Winn Dixie, with 25 years of service, which 15 years was management. Lee then felt he needed more of a challenge, so he became a licensed financial advisor for 18 years, first starting with Bank of America and then Edward Jones.
While Lee was semi-retired he found himself missing working face to face helping people. With a strong financial background and a 40+year’s resident of Cape Coral, Lee became a licensed real estate agent and joined Nautical Reality Group.

Originally from western Pennsylvania (GO STEELERS), I landed in southwest Florida via Myrtle Beach, SC and Las Cruces, NM. As you can see, I like to travel and experience different areas and cultures. While living in SC, I would vacation in southwest Florida and fell in love with the Gulf. I finally planted roots (mine and several native plants) in Lee County in 2008.
I am an avid dog lover who supports the mission of the ASPCA and owner of three rescue dogs myself. In addition, I also support the efforts of the Florida Yards and Neighborhoods to protect our local waterways by promoting native, low-maintenance landscaping, thus reducing water, fertilizer, and pesticide usage.
I earned my BA at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and I am a licensed CPA in Pennsylvania. I am also a current member of several CPA organizations and the Realtor Association of Greater Fort Myers and the Beach.
